Interview- Dr. BCW
Dr. Bayo Curry-Winchell is a Medical Director and practicing physician who specializes in urgent care, black maternity, and working with survivors of domestic abuse, child abuse, and sexual assault. Known as Dr. BCW, she has done two TED Talks on black people’s justified distrust of the healthcare system and advocated for black families on national platforms such as CNN, CBS NEWS, NBC, and more. Her social platform Beyond Clinical Walls aids her in her mission to highlight the disparities black people face and create a toolkit that will provide greater access to healthy living tips.
